Create Cost Center

Define Cost Center:

In the upcoming section, you will discover the process of establishing cost centers.

• You have successfully finished the Maintain controlling area step.

• You have set up the required cost center types.

• You have outlined a standard hierarchy.

The interface will appear as follows,



To initiate the creation of a cost center, double-click on the corresponding option, and the interface will appear.



Please enter or choose the controlling area that we have already established, and then click on the checkmark icon.



Please create a 4-digit cost center name of your choice, using KSNM as a reference.

Next, choose today's date in the "valid from" field and then press Enter.



Complete the required fields in the basic data tab, including Name, Description, Responsible Person, Cost Center Category, Hierarchy Area, Business Area, and Currency. After filling in these details, press Enter.



Press Enter again,



To save the data, click the Save icon.

Then, press the back button.



To return to the Display IMG screen, please click the close button.

Additionally, the Cost Center: KSNM has been successfully created.
