A client signifies the topmost component of the organizational structure within the SAP ERP system. Typically, a client denotes a company or a consortium of companies, which encompasses multiple independent company units.

An SAP ERP system can host various clients as logical units. Within a client, additional organizational elements, along with master and transaction data, are established and managed.

From the perspective of the SAP ERP system landscape, there are generally three systems:

1. Development (DEV)

2. Quality Assurance (QAS)

3. Production (PRD)

The actual configuration occurs in the DEV system, which is subsequently transported to the QAS system for testing and training purposes. The final configuration is then moved to PRD, which serves as the ultimate live system where the business process owners of the company perform real-time live entries.

Select the company, and the interface will appear as

Choose new entries,

Complete the required fields as illustrated in the image and then click the save button.

You will see this screen and click on the new request option as highlighted.

Input your plant name in the short description field and press the save button, and the interface will be.

Please click the continue button, and from this point forward, all configuration changes will be saved exclusively in your plant.

The Company 1959 - RKS Plant has now been established.
